In these lessons we all looked at previous work done by our school and other schools around the country. We then spent some time looking at the briefs and guidelines for the course. This helped us as it started us thinking of what we would like to do.
The next few lessons we spent time doing analysises of two pieces of work thats out at the moment of the thing as what we chose to do. For example as i chose i was going to do a teaser trailer for a new film i analysed two films which were wanted and inglourious basterds. These were in A3 and have detail of camera shots, editing, lighting, sound and much more.
In the last week or two we have drawn out storyboard and mind maps of ideas that we have then scan them into the computer. Once they are on the computer we opened each image in celtex which helps to create storyboard as it puts them in order and also you can write a caption underneathe about what is going on in that image.
Our latest task was to look at styles already around and try to come up with some of our own. This includes exploring different fonts we may consider to use and also editing of pictures and shots.
This week i have been looking at many different fonts that i could possibly choose to use. Also this week i discovered the name that i was going to call my film which was "desperate times" is already a film made in 1998 so i have now changed mine to "bad times." Also i have wrote out the briefs and also i have wrote out and created my own synopsis about my trailer.
